Senbo Resort
Wuhan Senbo Resort is a family oriented resort hotel interior located in China. The design translates local landscape imagery of mountains, flowing water and lotus forms into an immersive spatial narrative. The lobby is defined by a double curved mountain like ceiling made of custom glass fiber reinforced gypsum panels. Building information modeling and parametric modeling were used to resolve the complex geometry. Natural wood, bamboo weaving, sustainable finishes and intelligent lighting create a calm atmosphere for adults and children.
Senbo Resort Hotel by Wjd Design was selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Senbo Resort Hotel won the Platinum A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2026. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
